The Mia Diaper Bag ($130)

What do you get when you mix high style with Mommy-inspired practicality? The Mia Diaper Bag! When our customer asked us to create one for her, we couldn't resist naming this product after her adorable daughter, Mia. The Mia Diaper Bag has all the pockets and conveniences needed for a busy mom and makes a great travel bag as well.

Two outer pockets include an open one and one with a snap flap. Inside, there is a front section for changing pads and another section with two compartments - the larger one has four large pockets for diapers, bottles, wipes and things. You can customize the bag with any fabric combination for a truly custom look. Please note that it will take 3-4 weeks for a custom bag to be made.

The Mom-treprenuer Corner

The wonderful thing about being an entreprenuer is the stories you get to share with fellow business owners. There are so many aspirations, hopes, dreams, fears and experiences that we encounter on a daily basis with our business. We wake up thinking about it, we go to sleep thinking about it. Owning a business is never 9-5 and while it's stimulating for some, it can be downright exhausting for others. In the talks I've had, I've learned that:

1. It's okay to not to turn a profit every month. It's not always about dollars. It's about how you earn them and how you turn around and put them back into your business.

2. It's healthy to take a break. Sometimes the best way to work is to walk away from it. You'll come back revived and ready to think with fresh thoughts.

3. Asking your customer about what they think can jumpstart new ideas. Some of my most popular products were created from customer's requests and not from what I thought I should sell. It pays to listen.

4. Underestimating ourselves is normal. Many of us are not comfortable being overly confident in our business. It's perfectly normal to have "off" days. What's important is to use those days to rethink strategy, focus and goals. You'll be amazed how positive and confident you'll feel afterwards. 

On A Personal Note

Darling Sohan S. Joshi

When I last wrote in this section, we were taking about getting ready for our little cutie to arrive and on May 13th he was welcomed into the world by all of us. Now already a month old, Sohan is having fun exploring and making funny facial expressions and sounds. Big sister Saloni is doing great and loves giving him hugs and kisses every chance she can get. Thank you all for your kind wishes, we can't wait for you to meet him!

We would love to see you at our Home Studio & Boutique. Morning, evening, weekend or daytime appointments are welcome. Coffee, tea and something sweet are always on the house.
