We’re Back with Spring in our Step
Welcome to our February 2008 newsletter. Many of you have long awaited our monthly newsletter as we took a hiatus from writing since October 2007. My husband Sunil and I learned that we are expecting our second baby this May and the days have been sweeter ever since. We invite you to get comfortable, enjoy your coffee and read on for a newsletter that’s been waiting to be published.
New Website, New Look
We love keeping things fresh at Sunisha Designs and with the turn of the New Year, we are redesigning our website to reflect our growing product line and all things beautiful. We value your thoughts and hope you’ll take the time to let us know what you think of our new look, new pages and overall ease of finding things. Be sure to stay tuned in March when we unveil the new look of www.sunishadesigns.com.

I am excited to be the Spotlight Speaker at The Professional Women's Council Luncheon on Wednesday, March 12th. The meeting is from 11:30am to 1:00pm at Maggiano's in the St. John's Center. Lunch is $20 for non-Chamber of Council members and reservations must be made by logging onto www.theprofessionalwomenscouncil.org. Learn about our company, shop from an array of wonderful products and be there for some great giveaways.
The Mom-treprenuer Corner

This is a new section in which I’d like to share a tidbit of knowledge that I’ve learned from friends, family or reading the many periodicals I get. As many of you know, juggling parenthood and a career or business is a never-ending quest for balance and inner satisfaction. This month, a quote from the WBO monthly e-newsletter really inspired me. It read “A true entrepreneur never retires.” So true! Each time I take a break from work, I can’t wait to get back into the swing of creativity and the buzz of production. The passion we have for our businesses and the drive to make it something special is an energy current that may pause but doesn’t stop. Do you have that buzz too? I’d love to hear what inspires you and helps you balance the worlds of parenting and work.
A New Role for a New Year
I am excited to announce my new position as the 2008 Newsletter Chair for the Duval County Medical Society Alliance. As most of you know, marketing and communications was my career focus prior to starting Sunisha Designs and this is great opportunity for me. I enjoyed writing the bi-monthly newsletter in 2007 for The Professional Women's Council and will stay on as an active member. Would you like to know more about the DCMSA? Visit www.dcmsonline.org/alliance.
On A Personal Note
I did it! I entered the world of blogging! I love that I can share my love of writing about all kinds of things in a creative forum. I don’t always get to write on a daily basis, but when I do, I love hitting that “Publish Post” button and seeing it on the blog. Feel free to visit at www.themash101.blogspot.com. In case you’re wondering about the name, my nickname growing up was Mash among my friends and “101” comes from one of Depeche Mode’s greatest album’s. There’s a little tidbit for ya...
We would love to see you at our Home Studio. Morning, evening, weekend or daytime appointments are welcome. Coffee, tea and something sweet are always on the house.
Sincerely,
Manisha S. Joshi
